Andrea

I started practicing yoga six years ago. At first, it was just a physical exercise for me, but over time I realized that it holds much more. Yoga doesn’t only happen on the mat—it’s a part of our life. It teaches us love, respect for others, and, most importantly, for ourselves.

After an intensive teacher training course in India, I fell in love with Vinyasa yoga, which I have been teaching since 2019. In my classes, I focus on the flow and playfulness of movement in connection with the breath. My goal is to give people the opportunity to pause for a moment and enjoy the present.

Anton

Hi, Yoga Garden is my alma mater, and I’ve been teaching here since its beginning. In my classes, the physical practice is always a bit stronger, with an emphasis on breath and respect for each individual. No matter who you are, yoga has a deep impact. In my own practice, yoga provides me with pillars I can lean on and tools to find my center and regulate my nervous system. Whether you are just starting with yoga or are somewhere along your own journey, we can mutually inspire each other toward better tomorrows.

Barbora

I first encountered yoga in 2015 when I was looking for a new form of exercise, and yoga was the only movement that I started to enjoy and that brought benefits to my body. At that time, I saw yoga simply as a regular physical workout. Gradually, however, I tried different teachers and styles of yoga and realized that it also made me feel great mentally. I began to take a deeper interest in yoga and practiced on my own at home. Later, I decided to go to Rishikesh, India, where I completed a teacher training course.

I am also studying medicine, and it’s fascinating to observe the positive effects yoga can have on the human body and mind. In my classes, I focus on connecting movement, breath, and mind. I want everyone who comes to my class to forget, even for a moment, about life off the mat and focus solely on their body and breath in the present moment. Yoga is about the unity of mind and body; it teaches us to slow down and to concentrate on ourselves without comparing to others. This is the spirit in which I strive to guide all my classes.

Blanka

For me, yoga is much more than physical asanas—it’s a connection of soul, mind, and body. It serves as a bridge between the physical and the non-physical within us. I love its accessibility and how widely accepted it is here in the Western world. I also appreciate how everyone can find their own way in it. For me personally, it has ultimately become a gateway to deeper self-understanding. Just as I change, my practice evolves as well. Through asanas, breath, and mental focus, it brings me back into my body and into the present moment. And this is the experience I love to share in my classes.

Christina

Christina has been practicing Yoga on and off since she was 23. Today at almost 45, she’s opening Yoga Garden Brno, which she hopes will embrace all the people whom want to build community! Be consciously active beings!

The practice of Yoga has the potential to open us to realize that nothing is absolute. We can choose to make change, to unlearn, to investigate, and to stand in solidarity with beings that are actively striving for freedom. This practice is so humbling, and generous, it truly can give us keys to open up to our illusions, to become kinder compassionate beings on this planet.

Diogo

My name is Diogo Almeida, I am Portuguese with a passion for all kinds of sports and activities. I first discovered yoga seven years ago after taking a trial acro-yoga class. Since then, I’ve occasionally practiced both yoga and acro-yoga. three years ago, while traveling in Central America, I decided to complete my YTT in Costa Rica, which turned out to be a transformative experience.

Yoga brings calmness to the mind, increases body awareness, and helps prevent injuries as I’ve become more flexible and more aware of my body edges. It serves as an escape. On bad days, it gives me strength, while on good days, it grounds me.A yoga class is a moment to disconnect from the real world, connecting the mind, breath, and body to the present moment. You can expect a mix of calm and dynamic movements, as my favorite styles are Hatha and Vinyasa.

Domi

I first encountered yoga as a form of compensatory exercise that helped me relax before and after modern fencing competitions. Gradually, however, fencing—with its highly competitive nature—took a back seat, and I started attending yoga classes more and more often instead of fencing training.

From the beginning, what drew me to yoga was the focus on the present moment and the merging with the breath. Both help to let go of the worries we encounter during the day while giving us the strength to face them at the right time. I aim to share this awareness of breath and mind in my own classes as well.

Eliška

Yoga has been an integral part of my life for many years. Over time, I’ve discovered not only its physical benefits but also a deeper level—the art of being present, finding calm, getting to know myself, and feeling the connection between body and mind. Yoga Garden is a safe space for me, where I’ve spent countless hours practicing on the mat. I’m therefore happy to be able to share here what yoga brings me: calm, strength, and the space to be myself.

Eva

I started practicing yoga during my university studies, where it has helped both my body and mind. But yoga quickly became more than just physical exercise—it touched my heart and made me happier. It has helped me with focus and sleep, and these are just a few of the benefits yoga can offer each of us.

Yoga strips away the layers we’ve accumulated through life, guiding us toward the discovery of our true self and a state of completeness. I firmly believe that yoga is for everyone and can create better moments, days, and lives for ourselves and those around us.

Honza

I see yoga as a path to better physical and mental health. It helped me overcome certain challenges in my life, which led me to practice more. Now, through teaching yoga, I aim to help people feel good in their own bodies. I’m still at the beginning of the journey to discover all its secrets—a journey I consider beautiful and endless—and I love every step along the way!

In my classes, I focus mainly on connecting movement with breath and staying present in the moment.

Jana

Yoga entered my life six years ago and has since become both my path and my support. I love movement in all its forms, enjoy exploring the body’s possibilities, and playing with the flow of practice. Studying physiotherapy has given me a deeper understanding of movement and enriches the way I work with the body—sensitively, mindfully, and healthily.

In addition to traditional Hatha yoga, for which I completed a teacher training course, I also enjoy teaching Vinyasa. In my classes, I like to focus on conscious breathwork and concentration. I believe yoga doesn’t end on the mat—it teaches us to carry calm, love, mindfulness, and balance into everyday life.

For me, yoga is a journey full of discovery, inspiration, and joy, and that is exactly what I strive to share with everyone who comes to my class.

Julie

I first discovered yoga several years ago and fell in love with it from the very first class. At the beginning, it was just another physical activity for me, but over time I realized it is much more than that. By combining breath and focus in each asana, a connection forms between spirit, body, and mind—giving us a moment to pause and be present. Over time, I noticed that yoga positively influences my life as a whole. I love its variety and the countless ways to work with it; its practice always gives me strength, calms me, and helps me pause and ground myself in the present. Thanks to yoga, I’m able to face the more challenging moments life brings.

My classes are designed to be versatile, supporting your breath in each pose, calming you, helping you connect with your body, and guiding you smoothly from one posture to the next.

Karla

For me, yoga is a way to stay connected with myself, my body, and the present moment. I studied pharmacy, but my heart has always been drawn to conscious movement and holistic health. After years of competitive sports, an injury taught me to slow down and listen to my body, and that’s when yoga entered my life. I spent several months in Bali, where I completed my Yoga Teacher Training and discovered the beauty of traditional yoga philosophy as well as the healing power of the breath.

In my classes, I create a space where everyone can feel accepted as they are and discover the strength they’ve long carried within themselves.

Klára

Hi, my name is Klára, and I began my yoga journey about 12 years ago. At first, it was mainly Power Yoga, and I was looking for a way to compensate for the imbalances caused by my other sports activities. Later, I expanded my practice to include other styles of yoga that were available.

In recent years, I have focused on Hatha and Vinyasa yoga. Since the beginning of my practice, my relationship with yoga has evolved, offering me much more than just physical compensation. Professionally, I work in physiotherapy, and I strive to apply this knowledge both in our practice and in everyday life.

I would love to create a safe space for you, where you can practice mindfully, with love and respect for your body.

Lena

My name is Lena, and you’ll find me at Yoga Garden teaching Dance & Movement classes. Dance has been a part of my life since childhood. For me, it’s a caress for both body and soul. I see movement and connection to my own body, combined with music, as a beautiful way to calm, release, and recharge with healing energy. I love drawing inspiration from nature, life cycles, and the endless discovery of myself. I enjoy exploring the possibilities of the body and movement beyond the limits of usual poses and patterns.

In my classes, I aim to create a space that allows you to connect with yourself, ground into your body, and, together with music and breath, explore the limitless possibilities of dance and movement that your body offers.

Lucie

I see yoga as a wonderful tool that can help harmonize the entire body—not only physically but also mentally. My personal practice has constantly evolved over the years. In recent years, I have focused a lot on pranayama and meditation, and during asana practice, I aim to direct attention to the body and the movement itself, which is also how I guide others in my classes. I enjoy exploring the possibilities our bodies offer and playing with the connection between breath and movement, allowing us to dive inward during practice.

Martina

Yoga Garden truly holds a special place in my heart and in my life, and I want you to experience that same special feeling in my classes. My name is Martina, and yoga has transformed and continues to transform my life—not only in terms of physical practice but also in shaping my overall perspective on life.

In my classes, I try to combine the classic principles of yoga with functional movements and recovery techniques. I believe that yoga, in its traditional form, often meets the modern needs of our bodies and minds, so I adapt classic asanas to address the challenges of a sedentary lifestyle and constant mental overload. I invite you to move with awareness, and perhaps end with an intention.

Mirka

I have been practicing yoga for some time and am still learning. From my experience so far, yoga is not just about practicing poses. For me, it is a tool that allows us to connect mind, breath, and body—in a single present moment. When this happens, it feels like a small miracle experienced deep within us.

I would like to teach yoga in this way—guiding people so that everyone can allow themselves, and eventually cultivate, a mindful practice: physical movement synchronized with the breath, a calm mind, and a body moving without effort or unnecessary strain.

Róza

I came to yoga a few years ago, at a moment when I realized that there are far more important things in life than our achievements and the number of things we can do better than others. My intention is for people in my classes to find calm and, in doing so, become more aware of their body, mind, and the space they inhabit. Since I am at the beginning of my yoga journey, I continue to explore different styles of practice, but I focus most on Vinyasa, which connects movement with breath while simultaneously building strength.

Tereza

I first came to yoga ages ago as a form of “compensatory exercise” to balance my contemporary dance practice. Today, I live yoga as a path that allows me to meet myself; it has become a bridge between the physical (tangible) and the inner, invisible world. I love being part of a community that flows together in the same rhythm, in one breath.

In my classes, I guide attention with an emphasis on the breath. I enjoy concentration, dialogue, laughter, and the shared exploration of possibilities.

Vendy

Yoga found its way to me in 2018 in Sweden, where I started attending hot yoga classes during the winter. Not so much driven by physical pain, but more by a feeling that this was a place that would nourish my soul and help balance the long winter, darkness, and the reserved nature of Swedes. Since then, I’ve been on that never-ending journey of self-discovery through yoga. I’m constantly learning and exploring the possibilities it offers, and over time, my own practice evolves as well. One element, however, remains the same: the harmony of movement with breath.

What I love about yoga is that it’s for everyone and it’s always there. For me, it’s a synonym for presence, calm, and focus. I hope that people leave my classes with at least a slightly calmer mind, a more relaxed body, and a more open heart.

Žaneta

I have been teaching yoga for five years, with a particular focus on queer-sensitive practice. I first encountered yoga in India, in Rishikesh, where I attended my first ashram practice ten years ago—a transformative experience that connected me deeply with yoga. I believe yoga is not just physical exercise, but also a way to cultivate inner space, learn kindness toward oneself and others, and find a path back to oneself.

My classes are not based on performance, but on bodily autonomy and freedom. I guide students to feel good in their bodies, to find calm and strength in the present moment, and to experience yoga as a place of safety and self-acceptance. At the same time, I believe that caring for mental and physical health is a political act—especially for those whose bodies, identities, or life circumstances have been historically marginalized.

This philosophy also inspired the nonprofit organization I co-founded, which provides free yoga to people from disadvantaged groups. I see yoga as a tool for individual and collective care, solidarity, and healing—a path for creating communities grounded in respect and mutual support.
